I'm Avik. I am currently a junior doctor, having graduated recently from the Bond University's Medical Program, located on the Gold Coast, Australia.

I have been tutoring for the past 6 years and helping candidates prepare and succeed in the Bond Psychometric Test and Bond Medicine Interviews. I was part of the first cohort to sit the psychometric test, so feel free to ask any questions you have!

As a recent student, I understand the key criteria that Bond Uni is looking for in potential candidates as well as changes made to the psychometric tests and interviews year to year! An example of this would be the group activity in the final interview station, added in 2023!

Through Bond University's Medical Program, I attended rotations in Brisbane, Gold Coast and Tweed areas. Rotations as a med student include surgery, general medicine, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatrics, psychiatry in Year 4 and intensive care, anaesthetics, orthopaedics, general practice, two electives and a selective in Year 5.

Electives allow you to travel overseas, interstate or to any approved hospitals and choose rotations in which you have particular interests. E.g. cardiothoracics/neurosurgery, forensic medicine, endocrinology... and the list goes on! I was fortunate enough to spend time in acute surgery as well as experiencing rehabilitation medicine.

Outside of medicine, I am also a software developer, making cool stuff in my spare time, check out my GitHub for a full list of my projects.
